Exemption from IGST and compensation cess to EOUs on imports till 31.03.2020

In reference to the Customs Notification No 09/2019 dtd. 25.03.2019 issued by the Dept of Rev, Min of Finance, Govt of India, it is notified that EOU’s have been granted an exemption from paying IGST and compensation cess on all their imports till 31.03.2020.

Importers may further refer to notification No. 52/2003-Customs, dated the 31st March, 2003 and was last amended by notification No. 79/2018-Customs, dated the 5th December, 2018, published vide number G.S.R 1176(E), dated the 6th December, 2018.
