India Exempts Imports of Goods for FAO (UN) Projects

The Govt of India has recently issued a Tariff Notification No. 32/2019-Customs dtd: 24.09.2019, which exempts goods imported in India by any Importer for Food & Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN) against below cited projects-

1. Strengthening Capacities for Nutrition-sensitive Agriculture and Food systems
2. Green Ag: Transforming Indian Agriculture for Global Environment benefits and the conservation of Critical Biodiversity and Forest landscape.

This notification has come into force on the 1st day October, 2019.
