Tariff concessions under the India Australia ECTA

The CBIC vide Notification No 62/2022-Customs dtd 26th December 2022 and Notification No 64/2022-Customs dtd 29th December 2022 has notified the tariff concessions provided under the India Australia ECTA. Indian Importers may plan their import shipments accordingly from Australia.

However, it is advised to the Importers that all imports shipments originating from Australia must confirm to the adherence to the Customs (Administration of Rules of Origin under Trade Agreements) Rules, 2020 notified via Notification no 81/2020-Customs dtd 21st August 2020, to take the benefits under the India Australia ECTA.
