Exemption of Export Duty as per Union budget 2016

 

Applicability of Export Duty Exemption

Dated: 02/03/2016

 

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 27/2011-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2011, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 153(E), dated the 1st March, 2011, namely :-

In the said notification, in the Table,

(i) for  serial number  20A  and  the  entries  relating  thereto,  the following  shall  be
  substituted, namely:-      
“20A   2601 11 21, 2601 11 22, All goods Nil”;
    2601 11 41, 2601 11 42    

 

  • against serial number 24A, for the entry in column (4), the entry “15%” shall be substituted;
  • against serial number 24B, for the entry in column (4), the entry “15%” shall be substituted;
  • after serial number 24B and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:-
“24BA 2610 Chromium ores and concentrates, all sorts. Nil”.
