Revised Export Policy of Ventilators & Sanitizers from India

The Govt. of India has today amended the Export Policy of Ventilators & Hand Sanitizers and the exports of these products are now “Prohibited” from India. Please refer to the DGFT Notification No 53 dtd: 24.03.2020.

Effect of this Latest Notification:

The Serial No 207 B of the schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export policy as specified in the Notification No. 52 dtd: 19.03.2020 is amended to the extent that the export of all ventilators including any artificial respiratory apparatus or oxygen therapy apparatus or any other breathing applicable/device falling under any ITC (HS) code, including the ITC (HS) codes mentioned above, is prohibited, with immediate effect.

The export of all Sanitizers falling under ITC (HS) code, including the ITC (HS) codes mentioned above, is prohibited with immediate effect.

The Transitional arrangement under Para 1.05 of the FTP shall not be applicable.
