DGFT Updates Certificate of Origin Issuing Authority Details

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has issued Public Notice No. 10/2025-26 dated 12th June 2025, effecting an important amendment under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023.

Key Amendment:

The agency authorized to issue Certificate of Origin (Non-Preferential) under Appendix 2E for Delhi State has undergone a name change and update in contact details.

Effect of This Public Notice:

This amendment:

Renames the listed agency in Appendix 2E,
Updates address and communication details, and
Is effective immediately.

Exporters dealing in sports goods and toys must take note of this revision to ensure accurate submission and verification of Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin (CoO).

Legal Authority:

This amendment is issued under Paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, which empowers the DGFT to notify procedural updates and modifications concerning authorized agencies.

Conclusion:

This update reflects the DGFT’s efforts to maintain an accurate and functional network of authorized agencies for trade certification. Exporters, CHA firms, and international trade consultants are advised to update their records accordingly to prevent documentation delays.
