DGFT Issues New SION for Betamethasone Valerate, Ferrous Fumarate, Ferrous Fumarate (Maleic Anhydride)
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has issued Public Notice No. โ 16/2025-26, dated July 2025, announcing the fixation of three new Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) under the “Chemical and Allied Product” category (Product Code: ‘A’). โ This development is set to streamline and enhance trade practices for exporters in the chemical sector.
Key Highlights of the Notification:
The newly introduced SIONs are as follows:
- SION No. โ A-3690
- Export Product: Betamethasone Valerate EP/BP/USP โ
- Export Quantity: 1 kg โ
- Import Item: Betamethasone โ
- Allowed Import Quantity: 0.915 kg โ
- SION No. โ A-3691
- Export Product: Ferrous Fumarate USP/BP/FCC/IP โ
- Export Quantity: 1 kg โ
- Import Item: Fumaric Acid 99% โ
- Allowed Import Quantity: 0.725 kg
- SION No. โ A-3692
- Export Product: Ferrous Fumarate USP/BP/FCC/IP โ
- Export Quantity: 1 kg โ
- Import Item: Maleic Anhydride โ
- Allowed Import Quantity: 0.65 kg
