Extend Temporary Suspension of n-Butyl Acrylate Quality Control Order

Due to significant global supply chain disruptions, the Central Government, in consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, recognized the urgent need to ensure the uninterrupted supply of n-Butyl Acrylate. The government determined that temporarily suspending the quality control order was necessary and expedient in the public interest.

The official order, dated 9th July 2026, amends the original Quality Control Order as follows:

Extension of Suspension Period:
- The suspension of the n-Butyl Acrylate (Quality Control) Order, 2021, which was initially set to end on 10th July 2026, has now been extended to 31st July 2026.
Legal Authority:
- The amendment is made under section 16 and sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, after due consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards.
