DGFT Integrates Voluntary Duty Payment Data for Seamless EODC Processing under AA and EPCG Schemes
India’s Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has introduced a significant digital upgrade to the processing of Export Obligation Discharge Certificate (EODC) applications under the Advance Authorisation (AA) and Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Schemes. This initiative centers on the integration of license-wise voluntary duty payment data from Customs/ICEGATE directly into the DGFT online system, enhancing transparency, efficiency, and ease of doing business for exporters and stakeholders.
Key Highlights of the Initiative
- Digital Integration for Seamless Processing
- Voluntary duty payment details made under AA and EPCG schemes are now electronically transmitted from Customs/ICEGATE to the DGFT portal.
- This eliminates the need for physical receipts and manual data entry, reducing errors and delays.
- Enhanced Transparency and Uniformity
- All duty payment information is authenticated and available online, ensuring uniform processing across all DGFT Regional Authorities.
- Stakeholders can verify payment details in real time, promoting trust and reliability in the system.
- Paperless and Efficient EODC Application
- Exporters and Regional Authorities can access voluntary duty payment details through dedicated interfaces:
- For Regional Authorities (BO Portal):
- Under Closure file β Payment Details Tab β Voluntary Payment Details
- License Room β Bills Repository β Select Bill β Voluntary Payment Details
- For Exporters (Customer Portal):
- My Dashboard β Repositories β Bills Repositories β Select Bill β Voluntary Payment Details
- Closure file β Right before submission β Voluntary Payment Details in Print summary
- For Regional Authorities (BO Portal):
- Only the payment details reflected on the DGFT portal (from Customs/ICEGATE) are recognized for EODC processing and closure.
- Exporters and Regional Authorities can access voluntary duty payment details through dedicated interfaces:
