DGFT Extends Import Period for Yellow Peas Under ITC (HS) Code 07131010 Until March 2027
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), has issued Notification No. โ 70/2025-26 dated 31st March 2026, announcing an extension in the import period for Yellow Peas under ITC (HS) Code 07131010. โ This notification is set to bring significant updates to the import policy for Yellow Peas, ensuring continued ease of trade for importers. โ

- The import policy condition for Yellow Peas under ITC (HS) Code 07131010, which was previously valid until 31st March 2026, has now been extended by one year. โ The new deadline for imports is 31st March 2027. โ

- The import of Yellow Peas under the specified ITC (HS) Code remains categorized as “Free.” โ
- There is no Minimum Import Price (MIP) condition attached to the import of Yellow Peas. โ
- There are no port restrictions for the import of Yellow Peas. โ
- Registration Requirement:
- Importers are required to register under the online Import Monitoring System for all consignments. โ
- This applies to consignments where the Bill of Lading (Shipped on Board) is issued on or before 31st March 2027. โ
- Continuity of Terms:
- All other terms and conditions outlined in previous notifications remain unchanged. โ This includes Notification Nos. โ 50/2023, 61/2023, 04/2023, 12/2024-25, 29/2024-25, 43/2024-25, 63/2024-25, and 16/2025-26. โ
